About Kerry

Training winners of an Irish Grade 1, Welsh National, Classic Chase and Grand National Trial gave Kerry an exceptional start to her career in 2015-16.
Horses were trained to the minute to take on and defeat classy performers from some of the biggest National Hunt yards.

The stunning run showcased exactly what Kerry can do when given the right ammunition.  Passionate about seeing thoroughbreds blossom throughout their careers, she is excellent at placing horses and stable members consistently perform well.

Kerry’s patient approach was especially rewarded by former stable star Happy Diva, who gave her all every time she ran in some of the UK’s toughest races.

The mighty mare produced a top drawer performance to race to first in the 2019 BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham.  Top Gamble was another shining light every winter, taking three Grade 2 events and finishing fourth in the 2017 Champion Chase.
Focusing on quality over quantity, Kerry has trained a remarkable number of high grade winners from her small string.  A substantial and solid strike rate form the foundations of a quality stable.  Other big race wins include the Game Spirit Chase, The Classic Chase and Grand National Trial.

A hands-on approach at The Bell House ensures Kerry carefully guides the career path of every horse, while always monitoring their daily wellbeing.  With a varied exercise regime amid the rolling hills of Herefordshire, her niche is educating quality young horses in the jumping department.
Many a classy chaser has emerged from the stable, notably 2019 BetVictor Gold Cup winner Happy Diva, a close second at the following year’s Cheltenham Festival.
Each horse enjoys the very finest facilities from spacious, purpose-built stables, top quality feed and bedding to daily turnout. Our exercise riders are of the highest quality and we take a sympathetic yet firm approach to training our equine team.
